Ethan M. Watts is a lawyer specializing in business law, intellectual property law, real estate law and internet law. Mr. Watts began his legal career at the highly regarded boutique business and real estate litigation law firm of Mazzarella Caldarelli LLP. Mr. Watts then joined the San Diego office of Musick, Peeler & Garrett LLP, a full-service law firm with offices across California, before opening up his own practice. Mr. Watts has more than 10 years of experience in business and real estate litigation, and his current practice also includes business startups, business and real estate transactions, intellectual property litigation and internet law related matters.

Mr. Watts earned a B.S. from Brigham Young University and a J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of San Diego. While in law school, Mr. Watts was the lead articles editor for the San Diego International Law Journal. Mr. Watts was also a member of the Entrepreneurship Clinic where he began his experience in helping entrepreneurs with legal issues such as business entity formation (corporations, limited liability companies (LLCs) and partnerships), business licensing and contract drafting, review and negotiation. During law and business school, Mr. Watts worked as a web designer and as a law clerk in the subrogation department of the San Diego law firm Brownwood Chazen & Cannon. Prior to law and business school, Mr. Watts was a professional volleyball player and worked in the information technology services industry.

Mr. Watts is a member of the Business and Corporate Law Section of the San Diego County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Intellectual Property Law Section of the State Bar of California. Mr. Watts has also previously been a member of numerous organizations including the Louis M. Welsh American Inn of Court, The J. Clifford Wallace American Inn of Court, the University of San Diego School of Business Administration Alumni Council and the Board of Directors of U.S.A. Volleyball. Mr. Watts is admitted to practice before all California state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
